I want you to ask yourself: how would your pregnancy experience change if you could move in a way that feels good and allows you to ENJOY this joyous time period?
Because right now you’re playing a guessing game which leads to inconsistency and frustration. Therefore you’re not seeing the results you know deep down are possible for you.
Lately it’s becoming clearer than ever that you need to call in reinforcements.
When you’re honest with yourself, you know that this time in your life is just, well…busy! You have a lot on your plate (hello preggo brain), and it’s time to release the mental load of figuring out what to do for workouts (again) and delegate it to someone else.
I totally get it - when you’re at that point it can sometimes feel like you’re failing. Maybe you find yourself thinking, “what’s wrong with me? I should be able to figure this out on my own.”
But creating a workout program and having the discipline to follow through (when you’re already doing so much!) is really hard!
And I’m going to let you in on a little secret - you’re not meant to do this on your own! There IS a way to have a workout program that’s perfectly crafted for your body, that accommodates your busy lifestyle AND has a built in cheerleader to keep you going when the going gets tough.
Once our time together comes to a close, we will have an offboarding week. We will have a quick wrap up call to review the progress you've made and give you the opportunity to ask any lingering questions. I will provide you with a detailed write up of recommended next steps so you can continue on your own with confidence!
For the next several months, it's time to do the dang thing! We are in close communication and I'm monitoring and tweaking all your workouts along the way. You also have me at your fingertips to keep you accountable and motivated!
After your intake and movement assessment, we have an onboarding week where you get aquinted with the app, watch some short educational videos, and I get to work on your program!
To craft your customized workout program, I need to learn all about you, your pregnancy experience, and see your body move!
If it's a go, we determine your contract length (customized to the length of your pregnancy with the option to add on postpartum support!)
After you submit your application, I will reach out within 48 hours to schedule a 15-minute free call. This helps me get more clarity on your goals and we determine together if this is a good fit!
"I started working with Meg at the end of my first trimester. I wanted to prepare my body for labor and postpartum. My goal was natural delivery and I knew it was going to be one of the most challenging things I have ever done and I wanted to set myself up for success during and after. Not only did her workouts help get my body ready for labor and keep me from becoming too sedentary but they also really helped me find balance and a better headspace around exercise. I used to be very all or nothing but when I was pregnant and working with Megan it was very much a “do what you can, when you can.” We would modify workouts as needed and as long as I kept my body moving that’s what mattered most."
- Jessica
"I started working with Meg when I was 5 months postpartum. She's so easy to work with and tailored everything to my needs and goals. I love the set up with the video demonstrations because it gave me the ability to go at my own pace which was so important after years of not properly breathing and engaging my core. I feel confident now that I can do any workout and know exactly how to modify and make each exercise work for my body. I can't wait to work with her again in my next pregnancy!"
- Michelle
"I finally feel like “me” again, physically and mentally, postpartum. If it hadn’t been for [Meg's] encouragement to seek alternate opinions and advocate for myself so early on, I honestly don’t know where I would be now. On top of the physical recovery, her program and expertise gave me trust in myself and left me feeling empowered. The only thing I did that I would change going back would be to start working with her during pregnancy!"
- Samantha
I know that starting a high-level structured workout program can feel daunting.
Hey - I'm a mom too and my life is chaotic AF. I understand on a personal level that not every week is going to be perfect.
But I’m not the kind of trainer that believes in “no excuses” or pushes you until you’re puking (hard, hard pass).
When we work together, I am passionate about finding a routine that works best for you and is adaptable to your schedule and your overall capacity!
Hear from my client Emily who worked with me throughout her pregnancy and 3 months into her postpartum journey…..
Look forward to your workouts each week because they don’t suck and they make your pregnancy easier
Gain the confidence and motivation to continue on your own with a new understanding of how to support your body (and without fear of injury!)
FEEL and see the changes happening each week
Try a bunch of different videos on youtube to find the *one* that finally motivates and excites you
Hope you’re doing exercises correctly so you don’t hurt yourself
Be inconsistent with your workout schedule
I'm a mom of two living in Raleigh, North Carolina, fueled by coffee and dreaming of life at the beach.
My approach to fitness is a functional one. Pregnancy, birth and postpartum are physically demanding seasons of life, and I believe your workouts should help make your day-to-day easier!
When we work together I not only help you get strong, but also help you understand how YOUR body moves and functions so that you feel empowered in your workouts for years to come!
I’ve taken my years of certifications and experience and condensed it into this program for you so you can fast track your results.
That being said, this program is not for everyone.
You have emerged from the first trimester fog of nausea and fatigue and are ready to move your body in an intentional way
You’re starting to have some aches and pains creep in and want to get ahead of them ASAP
You have specific birth preferences in mind and want to prepare your body as best as you can (unmedicated, epidural, VBAC, repeat c-section, etc)
You have other kiddos at home and can’t afford to spend your pregnancy sidelined
You know that postpartum recovery requires preparation during pregnancy and you’re ready to put in the work
You have the physical and mental capacity to add regular exercise to your routine
You are ready to commit to a structured workout routine and want a high level of accountability and support
Yup, this is me! I'm in!
Customized fitness coaching is highly personalized to ensure that you are doing what's best for your body and goals. One-on-one coaching is an investment in your pregnancy/postpartum/motherhood experience. It is $350 USD per month and the length is customized for your pregnancy.
Yes! I have had many clients start with me during pregnancy and continue into postpartum. Typically I check in with clients after they've given birth to see how things are going, and most people start up again in the 6-10 week postpartum time frame.
However long you want them to be! That's the beauty of customized coaching. We come up with a workout plan that feels good for you, that you can be consistent with. And I know your schedule might change week to week, so we accomodate for that too!
If you're having persistent pain that is not improving with exercise adjustment, I will refer you out to a qualified professional like your doctor or a physical therapist for further evaluation. I partner with a pelvic floor PT who can do virtual consultations if you are unable to see someone in person! From there I incorporate their recommendations into your program.
A requirement of this program is to log your weights used, reps and sets completed, and to submit form videos to me weekly. I also encourage you to leave detailed notes upon completion of each workout so I know how it went. I review all of this each week as I make adjustments to your program!
This is a high-level of support, and it's not right for everyone! If you're interested, fill out the application and I will be in touch to schedule a Zoom call so we can meet face to face and learn more about each other. This is a low pressure call because I only want us to move forward if it feels the best for us both! If we decide it's not a good fit at the moment, I can point you in the right direction for other programs that might be better suited for your needs.
