Certified Prenatal and Postpartum Fitness Coach, Birth Doula, mom of two, and founder of Vibrant Mama Wellness.

Hi! i'm Meg

I help people navigate the physical side of pregnancy, prepare for birth with more than a birth plan, and feel supported through postpartum.

But I didn’t get into this work because I had pregnancy, birth, or postpartum all figured out. Quite the opposite actually...

That’s the question I asked myself after having a c-section with my son in 2020. I felt weak and completely foreign in my body. I was so defeated and it seemed like I'd never feel like myself again. And couldn’t accept that this was “it”. I knew there had to be another way.

Six months postpartum, I started my certification in prenatal + postnatal fitness because I wanted to understand what the hell was actually happening in my body. Pretty quickly I realized this was the work I wanted to do.

Eighteen months later, I got pregnant again.

This time, I approached pregnancy and birth very differently. I hired a doula, prepared for a VBAC, and experienced firsthand how different it felt to go into birth with more support, more information, and more tools.

That experience eventually led me to become a birth doula myself. And getting into the delivery room changed the way I thought about my work all over again.

I started noticing this weird disconnect: we tell people to exercise during pregnancy. We teach them what happens during labor. We tell them to make a birth plan. But there can be this massive gap between knowing about birth and actually preparing for the physical experience of it.

And suddenly, the work I’d been doing for years made even more sense. Pregnancy movement, physical birth preparation, and postpartum recovery weren’t three separate conversations. They were connected.

That’s when it clicked: pregnancy, birth, and postpartum are all connected. The way we prepare for them should be, too.

I share a lot of free content across my social media platforms, and spend the majority of my time on Instagram. It's my favorite way to connect with my community, so come on over and say hi!

This is the blanket statement we're told to cover all the awkward, uncomfortable and sometimes embarrassing things that happen to our bodies during pregnancy and postpartum...

...but what if it doesn't have to be that way?

Horror movies terrify me, but hand me a psychological thriller novel and my butt will be on the couch all day devouring it. I know...it makes zero sense.
